NEW PHARMACY BENEFITS MANAGER: INGENIO RX

Dear TCSIG Members,

It is time to get ready for your new pharmacy benefits manager

Pharmacy is an important part of your health benefits. Starting July 1, 2022, Ingenio Rx will manage your prescription drug coverage. Please watch the mail at the end of June for your new ID card. You will need to present this card when you use your pharmacy benefits.

What this means for you

If you are currently getting a prescription from a retail pharmacy, you may be able to continue receiving your refills from that pharmacy using your new ID card.

2022-2023 RATES ANNOUNCED

On March 25, 2022, the JPA Board approved the FY 2022/2023 rates and there are NO RATE CHANGES for the 6th year in a row on PPO Plans. The summary is listed below:
Medical PPO Plans: 0% RATE INCREASE
Dental Plans: 0% RATE INCREASE
Vision Plans: 0% RATE INCREASE
Waiver Assessment: 0% RATE INCREASE
Group Life Plans: 0% RATE INCREASE
Voluntary Life Plans: 0% RATE INCREASE
Kaiser Medical Plans: Approximately 6% increase, with Senior Advantage Plans (Medicare) decreasing.

January 2022 Prescription Changes

Some members received letters from ProAct indicating changes required in their prescriptions however TCSIG worked with ProAct to grandfather prescriptions that were affected by the changes. Members may either switch to the suggested prescription or continue to fill their current prescription. If a member is still experiencing problems getting a prescription please contact ProAct at (877) 635-9545 or TCSIG at (530) 822-5299.

2020-2021 RATES ANNOUNCED

Great News!
On April 24, 2020, the JPA Board approved the FY 2020/2021 rates and there are NO RATE CHANGES for the 4th year in a row on PPO Plans and all medical plans have been enhanced. The summary is listed below:
Medical PPO Plans: NO RATE INCREASE
Dental Plans: NO RATE INCREASE
Vision Plans: NO RATE INCREASE
Waiver Assessment: NO RATE INCREASE
Group Life Plans: NO RATE INCREASE
Voluntary Life Plans: NO RATE INCREASE
Kaiser Medical Plans: 1.43% increase, with Senior Advantage Plans (Medicare) remaining the same.
The annual open enrollment period is April 27, 2020 – June 12, 2020. Employers may set up their open enrollment periods within these dates.

 If you find that you may be needing EAP services (counselors, psychologists, attorneys and other helping professionals), your employee assistance program is available for personal, family, financial or legal problems. Human Behavior Associates can assist in connecting you with the appropriate resources. 1-800-937-7770 Employee and family members are entitled 3 free counseling sessions If you are in need of a new medical card, we can send you a temporary ID card which can be emailed, mailed (to a forwarding address if needed), or available for pick up at our office which is also located on Live Oak Blvd in Yuba City. TCSIG is reminded of the importance of being prepared during disasters. One way you can help us is to enter your current cell phone number and email address on your enrollment form. for the FY 2018-2019 Are As Follows:

GREAT NEWS!

  • There are O RATE INCREASES Nfor the Medical PPO Plans!
  • Three Plans have been enriched!On the Consumer Driven Health Plan (CDHP), the deductible for an individual has been decreased to $1,500 per person, $3,000 for family. The total Out- of-Pocket for the individual has been reduced to $5,000 and for family, $10,000.
  • On the Standard Plan, the Out-of-Pocket for the individual has decreased to $3,500 and for the family $7,000.
  • On the Premier Plan, the Out-of-Pocket has decreased to $2,500 for the individual and $5,000 for the family.
  • The Kaiser HMO rates have been announced.
  • The two Active Plans rates have been increased approximately 2%.
  • The two Senior Advantage Plans rates have been increased approximately 4%.
  • There are NO RATE INCREASES for the Dental Plans!
  • There are NO RATE INCREASES for the Vision Plans!
  • Waiver Assessment - No Change
  • Group Life Options - The rates have not been released.
