Financial Audits

Overview

Tri-County Schools Insurance Group, like governments in many other jurisdictions, are required to prepare financial audits for transparency, accountability, and regulatory compliance. These audits are performed by independent certified public accountants in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America (GAAS), the State Controller’s Minimum Audit Requirements for California Special Districts and the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards (Government Auditing Standards), issued by the Comptroller General of the United States. in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America (GAAS), the State Controller’s Minimum Audit Requirements for California Special Districts and the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards (Government Auditing Standards), issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.
